Mise-en-scène

Mise-en-scene refers to everything that appears before the camera and its arrangement - composition, sets, props, actors/actresses, costumes and lighting.

Location – (School) Main Entrance. I have chosen this particular scene as it is very modern and looks very mature.

Actors – A smart student, as they will set a very good example for Oldershaw via clothing and punctuality.

Camera shot – Medium Close-Up (MCU).

Costumes – Smart clothing, their usual school uniform as this sets a rather good example and allows the audience to understand that Oldershaw is a mature and well presented School/Sixth Form.

Props – Perhaps some form of book to enhance his intellectuality.

Narrative – This will make Oldershaw look very sophisticated, it will allow the audience to think very positively about the academy.
