1. The type of shot in this frame, clearly showing the two males in the shot. High key lighting is used to make the scene more natural, and it doesn't set a negative mood/or atmosphere.
2. Low Key lighting is used in order to create a dramatic effect in the scene and create shadow's to the man's face in this frame. The half light/half shadow effects suggests both good and evil - perhaps this is foreshadowing future events. The shot type is a Medium Close Up and allows the audience to gain full concentration, and it also allows the audience to see the persons facial expressions.
3. High key lighting has been used in this scene, and it is also a medium close up. This particular shot is a low angle. This choice of angle usually allows the audiece to feel belittled and powerless, allowing the character to seem in-power and intimidating to the viewers. Selective focus has been used to show clearly what/who is most important in the shot.
4. In this shot it seems as though a coloured has been used, this shot seems as though it has a small tint of blue through the frame; blue usually symbolises sadness - a filter may have been used. This shot is a two shot frame. An high angle shot has been used in order to make the woman in shot seem (and the lying body), almost, completely powerless, vulnerable and to seem weak to the viewers.
5. This shot is a long shot, and is also a two shot angle. In this scene it appears as though a sepia filter has been used. A sepia effect is usually used in order to emphasise lighting. As you can see in this scene, the light from the street lamps are shown clearly among with other lighting. The darkness, and very little light, creates a gloomy atmosphere.
The body that is lying on the floor does not set a positive, up lifting atmosphere. The lighting has also created to walking figure to appear as a silhouette - this creates sincere mystery as the person cannot be identified in this particular shot.
6. Low key lighting has been used to form a scene of tension within the shot. The light coming from behind the female allows the audience to draw full attention to her, perhaps this portrays her as the most important. I believe this shot is a Medium Long Shot.
7. In this frame, the male is an eye level shot - this certainly emphasises the facial expressions of the man allowing the audience to see that he is, some what, scared or atleast curious in this scene. Low key lighting is also used to form shadows on the man. The darkness creates a tense mood.
8. Here a two shot and low key lighting have been used. The lightening is shone on to the two characters to highlight their presence - it doesn't show them 100%, however. This creates a rather curious, and dramatic effect towards the church as the church is almost in complete darkness. Also, this scene does not show what the two people are staring back at; the audience cannot see any thing that the character can see which creates a mysterious atmosphere.
9. An over the shoulder shot usually always allow the audience to see things from another characters perspective, however the reflection in the mirror already shows this. The lack of clothing on the pair, the low-key lighting in this particular shot, and the night-time vibes allows the audience to believe that the couple are in a heterosexual (romantic) relationship.
