My style model, Kerrang!, are named after the onomatopoeic word that derives from the sound that is made when a power chord on a distorted electric guitar is played/strung. I have used this as an inspiration to call my magazine "VOLUME".
The title will be in capital letters as it will automatically be linked to music, and will give the audience a clear understanding that the magazine music genre is loud, to some degree. The word "Volume" is a short word, and it will be great to spread the Masthead across the magazine perfectly.
I will keep the font of the title all the same, however I will changed just one letter of the title by colour. I will changed the "V" this is because I would want my magazine to have its own logo.
